No matter your journey or your identity, you are (truly) welcome here.
As a Congregational church, being a welcoming community isn't just an aspiration; it's one of our deepest values. Our tradition values walking together with Jesus and each other through life, even (and sometimes especially!) when we don't believe the same things. So believe us when we say you are welcome!
In fact, we'd love to welcome you this Sunday! We're glad to worship with you online or in-person. If you plan to join us in-person, you can park in either parking lot you see next to the building. As you walk in, one of our Welcome, Beloved team members will greet you and help direct you to either our Traditional or Alternative services which both start at 9:30am (more on that below).
You're welcome to come early, meet others, explore the grounds, or visit our Connection Corner to learn about what's happening in our congregation. You're also welcome to slip into either service just as it starts at 9:30am! We've got programming for kids birth-5th grade - feel free to drop off your 0-2year old(s) anytime after 9:15am, while kids above 2 years old join the first 20 minutes of the service before being dismissed to their own activities.
If you are a parent with young kids, you'll find out pretty quickly that we love interacting with God's world through Nature! Right after the services, join us on either the Pond Room deck or Gathering Rooms 2 & 3 (don't worry, we'll point you in the right direction) for some interactive activities that integrate nature into our journeys with Jesus.
Otherwise, following both services, stick around for Coffee & Connection time in the North Common! This is one of the highlights of our week, where we share our life from the last week with familiar friends and get to know new friends as well. We often have an Adult Ed class that begins at 11:00am, and we'd love to have you join that too if you're up for it. (Childcare is available on these Sundays.)
Questions? No worries! Reach out to Michele Steinke, our Connections Coordinator, and she'd love to help you out.
One Church. Two Expressions.
We're grateful to re-engage in person while keeping our neighbor's good at the center.
Here's the summary of our updated COVID-19 guidelines:
- We are asking that all who enter our building wear a mask, irrespective of vaccination status.
- We are asking that you practice social distancing of 6 feet or more while inside the building.
- Masks are required in all parts of the building past the Great Hall when children are present.
- Effective beginning November 21st, we will be removing food and beverages from all gatherings with the exception of Wednesday Night Dinner. We will space out tables on Wednesday nights to a maximum of 5 people and ask people to wear masks while not eating so we can practice hospitality while balancing safety and giving people the ability to opt-in or out depending on their comfort.
Through it all, we are committed to keeping our guidelines in step with emerging trends and will update them accordingly.
