Worship + Music

Worship and music at Colonial Church provides leadership over worship services, concerts and various musical ensembles— all of which is ultimately aimed to empower the body, mind, spirit, and voice of God’s people for worship of Jesus Christ. We invite you to engage in the various avenues, whether it’s by singing heartily in the pew on a Sunday morning or evening, joining one of our outstanding choirs or bands, or attending a concert featuring world-renowned musicians. There’s a place for you at Colonial and a place to belong for artists and worshippers of all types.

Even during this season we are still worshipping and being the church through worship and music. If you'd like to get involved, please contact Barb Halvorson, assistant for worship and the arts.

God is doing a new thing.

We're planning to launch a new worship expression in the coming months. As a part of the effort, we're creating a service format featuring alternative worship music. Starting on May 24th we will be one church with two expressions! As you enter into virtual worship on YouTube or Facebook you'll have the opportunity to select either worship style as we come together as one church with two expressions of worship! If you are interested in being a part of co-creating this new worship expression, please email Rev. Sara Wilhelm Garbers or Rev. Andrew Zhao.
