Worship + Music

Worship and music at Colonial Church provides leadership over worship services, concerts and various musical ensembles— all of which is ultimately aimed to empower the body, mind, spirit, and voice of God’s people for worship of Jesus Christ. We invite you to engage in the various avenues, whether it’s by singing heartily in the pew on a Sunday morning or evening, joining one of our outstanding choirs or bands, or attending a concert featuring world-renowned musicians. There’s a place for you at Colonial and a place to belong for artists and worshippers of all types.

If you'd like to get involved, please contact Barb Halvorson, Administrative Assistant for Worship and the Arts.

We Sing Spirituals

Community Sing Series beginning on April 10th at 11:00am | Meetinghouse

Join us for our Community Sing Series, where we will gather together in the Meetinghouse around the power of song.

Our first gathering will feature Emery Stephens, Baritone and Assistant Professor of Voice at St. Olaf College, leading us in the singing of spirituals from our new Glory to God hymnal. Following the service, we will gather in the North Common and offer the opportunity to dedicate these hymnals for $25, which covers the cost of the hymnal and will support another ministry.
