Stamped: A Community Conversation

July 25 @ 9:00 AM - 10:30 AM

Stamped: Racism, Antiracism, and You: A Community Conversation + Book Discussion

Saturday, July 25th from 9:00 – 10:30am via Zoom

Zoom ID: 445-724-8431
We’ve finished through our 3-week series of films and companion podcasts exploring the story of race in America.

But what does it look like to be formed in the image of Christ for the sake of others in issues of faith and racism?

How do we go from knowing that racism still affects our common life to identifying and standing against it in our daily life for the good of our neighbors?

Let’s continue the journey with Stamped: Racism, Antiracism, and You, a Jason Reynolds remix of Ibram Kendi’s National Book Award-winning book detailing the history of racist ideas in America. It explores the history of how we got here and gives us a map forward for the future.

We invite you to get a copy of the book wherever you get your books from and join us on Saturday, July 25th from 9:00 – 10:30am via Zoom as Sara Wilhelm Garbers, Christian Winn, and Laura VanderTop facilitate a learning experience for us rooted in themes from Stamped.

Let’s keep following Jesus into the lives of our neighbors.
