Does following Jesus touch all of our life? Join us in our ongoing journey to find out as we gather monthly to hear facilitators exploring topics that intersect faith with weighty subjects like justice, humanities, environmental stewardship, and everything in-between. Begins September 23rd.
Join us along with author and professor emeritus Drick Boyd to talk more about the invitations to us as people of faith as he shares from his book Disrupting Whiteness: Talking with White People About Racism.
The book draws on Boyd’s personal experience as a pastor, Christian, professor, and antiracism trainer, and offers an approach to talking about racism that is conversational rather than combative and invites people to a deeper exploration of why they think and feel as they do.
Books are available in the reception area during the week and at the Connection Corner on Sunday mornings for $15. You do not have to have read the book in order to attend, and there’s no RSVP needed. Contact Rev. Christian Collins Winn with any questions.
