Jesus turns his face toward Jerusalem. This Easter, we're doing the same.
Following Jesus is made up of a thousand turnings. At the dramatic center of Jesus' life, he turns his face toward Jerusalem on a collision course with the ruling authorities, death, and the healing of the world that came on the other side of them.
This Lent and Easter season, it's this Great Turning that calls us to turnings of our own.
Jesus' turn toward Jerusalem culminates in what we call Holy Week, the unfolding story of Jesus' triumphal and surprising entry on a donkey, his crucifixion at the hands of the ruling authorities, and the Resurrection that changed and keeps changing everything.
This Holy Week, journey alongside us through the week that turned everything upside down.
