Care & Support

Colonial Cares

Colonial Cares is about sharing the journey of faith together. It’s an invitation to build bridges, to learn how to become better care givers, and get the church to a place where we can be better care receivers. Join us as we identify – and amplify – our gifts for the mission of our church, and the glory of God.

Focus on what you do best

Christ encourages us all to invest in things that have eternal value, by being good stewards of our resources, whether that be our finances, time and/or talents. We invite you to join us on your journey to answer the question, “How can I best utilize my resources to have an impact for God’s glory?”
REFRAMING Pastoral Care Ministry

Colonial Cares is a new way to identify, train, encourage, motivate and equip caregivers in the Colonial community. It is the identity for all pastoral programs and activities at Colonial Church. Colonial Cares caregivers will be invited to participate in an in-house training program. That includes the StrengthsFinder testing tool and follow-up evaluation, as well as a series of training classes to be offered both in the fall and the spring on consecutive weeks. Colonial Cares is designed around the needs of the care receiver(s).

TRAINING

Training coming in Spring 2018!  Check back for specific dates.
