Colonial Cares
Colonial Cares is about sharing the journey of faith together. It’s an invitation to build bridges, to learn how to become better care givers, and get the church to a place where we can be better care receivers. Join us as we identify – and amplify – our gifts for the mission of our church, and the glory of God.
What is possible?
• How can they best be used?
• What does that look like?
• What would we do?
Focus on what you do best
REFRAMING Pastoral Care Ministry
Colonial Cares is a new way to identify, train, encourage, motivate and equip caregivers in the Colonial community. It is the identity for all pastoral programs and activities at Colonial Church. Colonial Cares caregivers will be invited to participate in an in-house training program. That includes the StrengthsFinder testing tool and follow-up evaluation, as well as a series of training classes to be offered both in the fall and the spring on consecutive weeks. Colonial Cares is designed around the needs of the care receiver(s).
