Oasis for Youth

Oasis for Youth

Oasis is expanding its program of assisting insecurely housed youth in the Bloomington, Richfield, and Edina area by developing a mobile unit to empower case managers who are always on the go to meet youth where they are and provide them with needed resources.

Current Volunteer Needs:

  • Matthew's Closet:  Part of our Blessing Initiative money helped open Matthew’s Closet in our building. Your generous donations are filling it fast, but now we need your hands! Volunteer to sort and organize the closet on Mondays at 9:30am. Contact Jane Wilson to sign up or to learn more about other ways to get involved. You can also sign up at the Connection Corner.
  • Ongoing Oasis Supplies: We're always looking to collect needed supplies for Oasis! Donate any of the following: hygiene items, baby items (newborn - 4T), 16-24-year old clothing, snack items, and household items.  Contact Jane Wilson to learn more.
  • Volunteer Group: We are seeking volunteers to help local youth who are experiencing housing insecurity. Want to lend a hand? Contact Jane Wilson with your name, phone number, and e-mail address to get plugged in.
