Register by completing the Children's Ministry Registration form and returning it to the church office. Forms for 2007-2008 will be available at Colonial Church in the Children's Ministry booth and in the church literature rack. (download Children's Registration Form)
Visitors are always welcome to Colonial Church Children’s
Ministry. For security reasons, we simply ask every visiting child to fill out a visitor’s card. Preschool children check in at the registration booth
in the Nursery Hallway and elementary children check in at the registration booth
outside the Youth Offices.

Nursery (0 – 23 months)
9:00 and 10:45 AM every Sunday
Infants and toddlers are welcomed into a safe and nurturing
environment by loving caregivers and consistent staff in Colonial’s
Nursery. Building trust with others is foundational in a child’s
faith journey and how they learn to trust God. Our nursery seeks to support
the faith journeys of these little ones with tender care.
The safety and nurture of the children in Colonial’s
nursery is our priority. Check-in is simple and parents are given a beeper
to take into the Meeting House should the nursery staff need to contact
them. Parents can be assured that caregivers are screened via an
application process, which includes a background check, and are never left
alone with a child.
Infants and toddlers can check in at the registration booth in the
Nursery Hallway up to ten minutes before the services.
Stepping Stones for Preschool kids (2 years – 5 years old)
9:00 and 10:45 AM every Sunday
Stepping Stones, our Sunday morning for kids ages two through five years, encourages preschoolers to explore their worlds and their faith through interactive, hands-on learning. Bible stories are told with energy and creativity in a large group worship experience and applied to life with age-appropriate crafts, games and creative play in small groups. Families are encouraged to reinforce these lessons at home by discussing the Bible Point and reading to their children from The Beginner's Bible.
Preschoolers can check in at the registration booth in the Nursery Hallway up to ten minutes before the services.
Faithtrek for Elementary kids (Kindergarten– 5th Grade)
9:00 AM every Sunday
FaithTrek encourages kids, 1st through 5th grade, to grow in widsom, faith, and friendship by living out
three basic truths:
- I need to make the wise choice.
- I can trust God no matter what.
- I should treat others the way I want to be treated.
Kids explore their faith in Jesus Christ by interacting with monthly Biblical themes built around a virtue.
Families are encouraged to reinforce these virtues at home by discussing the weekly Refrigerator Door
take-home sheets and using the monthly supplemental parenting resource, Family Times.
Elementary kids can check in at the registration booth outside the Youth Offices up to ten minutes before the service.
10:45 AM EVERY SUNDAY
Elementary children are invited to worship with their families in The Bridge. Kindergarteners are welcome to attend Stepping Stones during this service.
