Camp Pyro

Camp Pyro is a sleep-away camp for kids entering 4th through 6th grade, offered by Colonial Church Children’s Ministry. An amazing adventure for kids to have fun and grow in faith, Camp Pyro is a great environment for kids to meet Jesus as Savior and to grow in a personal faith. Campers explore their faith with counselors and staff in evening chapel services, morning devotions and cabin huddles. The fun never ends with all-camp games like Spotcha and massive obstacle courses. During free time, kids play on the water slide, rope swing, conquer the climbing tower, create crafts and search for Bonzo Block. It’s the week kids can’t stop talking about!

Pyro 2

Pyro 2 has been offered to students entering 7th, 8th, and 9th grade by Colonial Church Youth Ministry for over 25 years. Pyro 2 has a great tradition of deepening faith, building relationships, and it’s a whole lot of fun! During a week at Pyro 2, middle school students are encouraged to deepen their faith in Christ, to build community with one another and our great staff, and to experience a week they will never forget! There is something wonderful that happens when 200 middle schoolers are transported away from home, students feel like they are a world away as they unplug from their suburban worlds and are transported to a place where they can focus on the basics: having fun, building friendships, and having encounters with God!
