Jeff Lindsay
has been on the staff of Colonial Church since 1984, serving as
Youth Minister until 1996, when he became the Minister of Outreach.
Jeff grew up as a child in Seattle, Washington. He has an A.A. degree
in law enforcement from Normandale Community College, a B.A. degree
in Biblical and Theological studies from Bethel College, and an
M.Div. from Bethel Theological Seminary. |
He finds joy
in seeing young adults—who were once part of the youth program
when he served as Youth Minister—now serving their church
through outreach and mission. As the Minister of Outreach, Jeff's
responsibilities are to oversee and facilitate the outreach of
Colonial, as represented in a broad scope of involvement, both
locally and around the world. He spends a large portion of his
time empowering people to catch the vision and experience the joy
of serving God in a variety of ministries. His ministry encompasses
overseeing the benevolent resources of the church, caring for and
facilitating relationships of its missionaries and training and
leading short-term mission experiences, while equipping people
in their understanding of the gospel and how to share it with others.
Jeff is married
and has two children and a Golden Retriever. He loves all sports
and is an avid Vikings and Twins fan. He's moved from his own personal
participation in sports to coaching and cheering for his kids in
their own sports activities. He enjoys playing an occasional round
of golf, spending time with family and friends and learning about
world cultures through his many mission trips to Mexico, Central
America, South America, Africa and India.
