Baptism Milestone: Blessing Your Child
July 5, 2012, 6:30 – 8:00 pm, Hearth Room
A gathering for parents to learn the meaning of baptism and the rhythm of blessing their child. Parents may choose to baptize their child on Sundays, July 8, August 12, and September 30. The next class is October 4 for baptisms on Sundays, November 11 and December 9. There are no infant baptisms in October.

Two-year old Milestone: Praying with Your Child
Sunday, January 29, 2012 during the 9:00 am worship service
This time together with your two year old lays the foundation for years of growing in knowing and loving Jesus. Come and get acquainted with Stepping Stones leaders and curriculum and learn how Children’s Ministry can partner with you to bring faith home through the simple ritual of praying with your child. Families who regularly attend the 10:45 am service are encouraged to come at 9:00 am to attend this milestone. RSVP to Kristin Johnson.
Kindergarten Milestone: Listening for God with Your Child
Sunday, November 20, 2011 during the 9:00 am worship service, Gathering Rooms II & III
All parents of Kindergartners are invited to come to FaithTrek with their child for this important milestone event. Come and experience the FaithTrek worship experience, meet your child’s small group leaders and learn a simple way of listening for God with your child. 2nd Grade Milestone: Loving God’s Word with Your Child

Presentation of Bibles: Sunday, March 25, 2012
All second graders and their parents are invited to experience this faith milestone where families explore God’s Big Story together and learn to love God’s Word together. This milestone prepares second graders to receive their very own Bible in the worship service. RSVP for the class & presentation to Kristin Johnson.
5th grade Milestone: Growing in Christ with Your Child
Sunday, April 22, 2012 during the 9:00 am worship service, Gathering Rooms II & III
The end of fifth grade means you’re almost ready to “trek up” from FaithTrek into Colonial Church’s Youth Ministry. Parents of 5th graders are encouraged to join FaithTrek and learn ways to remain engaged as their child’s primary faith nurturer in the years to come. RSVP to Kristin Johnson.
